Belarus 4-0 San Marino: Kontsevoi double seals first Nations League win (full match highlights)

Belarus secured their first victory of the current Nations League campaign with a commanding 4-0 win over San Marino at the Rudolf Illovszky Stadium in Budapest. The match, played on neutral ground due to UEFA restrictions, was goalless at half-time despite Trofim Melnichenko hitting the crossbar from a corner on 22 minutes, with VAR confirming the ball did not cross the line. Belarus broke the deadlock just 40 seconds after the restart when Kirill Pechenin won the ball on the left flank and crossed for Artem Kontsevoi to finish into the corner. Artem Shumansky doubled the lead on 65 minutes with a powerful strike into the top corner, and Maks Ebong added a third three minutes later, again assisted by Pechenin. Kontsevoi completed his brace on 88 minutes, finishing between the goalkeeper's legs after being played through by Shumansky. Pechenin finished the match with three assists. Belarus now have four points in Group C1, sitting third behind Finland and Albania, while San Marino remain bottom without a point after three heavy defeats. Belarus host Finland on 6 October, while San Marino travel to Albania. Can Viktor Gancharenko's side build on this result and challenge for promotion.
