Chelsea 1-0 AC Milan: João Pedro strike gives Blues half-time lead in Jakarta (full match highlights)

Chelsea are leading AC Milan 1-0 at half-time in their pre-season friendly at the Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 8, 2026. João Pedro scored the only goal of the first half in stoppage time, finishing clinically after being played through by Moisés Caicedo. The Brazilian striker rounded Lorenzo Torriani and slotted home to give the Blues the advantage heading into the break. The goal came from a Caicedo interception in midfield, with the Ecuadorian driving forward before releasing Pedro with a perfectly weighted through ball. Strahinja Pavlović received a yellow card in the 45th minute. Both teams fielded strong lineups in front of a packed stadium in Indonesia's capital. Chelsea, now managed by Xabi Alonso who took over in June 2026, looked solid defensively and dangerous on the counter. AC Milan, under the guidance of newly appointed manager Rúben Amorim, created several chances but couldn't find the net. This match is the fifth pre-season fixture for Chelsea, while Milan are building towards the Serie A opener. Can the Rossoneri find a way back into the game in the second half?
