A stunning upset at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as newly promoted Como stunned Napoli with a 2-1 victory, claiming their first win of the Serie A season. The visitors were full of confidence and struck first on 17 minutes. Martin Batourina opened his Como account with a powerful finish into the far corner after Assane Diao's cross from the left flank. Napoli responded quickly and levelled the scores on 30 minutes through Rasmus Hojlund, who calmly rounded the goalkeeper after a clever pass from Amir Rrahmani. But the hosts' joy was short-lived. Just four minutes later, Anastasios Douvikas restored Como's lead, firing a precise strike from outside the box after Batourina's through-ball. Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo was booked on 37 minutes for a reckless challenge. The second half saw Napoli push forward in search of an equaliser, but Como's defence held firm, earning a famous victory. The statistics show Napoli had 18 shots with 7 on target and 65% possession, while Como registered 10 attempts with 4 on target despite having just 35% of the ball. Martin Batourina was named man of the match with a goal and an assist. With four points, Napoli stayed in 6th place, while Como climbed to 7th with the same points tally.
