Real Madrid produced a dominant display to brush aside city rivals Rayo Vallecano 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Kylian Mbappe delivering a masterclass and scoring a stunning hat-trick to keep Los Blancos at the summit of La Liga. The French forward opened the scoring on 14 minutes, latching onto a cross from the right flank and finishing with trademark composure. Just three minutes later, he doubled his tally, racing onto Alvaro Fernandez's through-ball before slotting past the helpless goalkeeper. Jude Bellingham made it 3-0 on 35 minutes, capping off a slick attacking move involving Vinicius Junior and highlighting Madrid's attacking fluency. Rayo Vallecano, who had shown flashes of resilience in the opening exchanges, pulled one back through Sergio Camello on 51 minutes, converting a low cross from the left. But any hopes of a comeback were dashed in stoppage time when Mbappe completed his hat-trick, finishing clinically from Arda Guler's precise pass. Real Madrid dominated the statistics with 19 shots, 8 on target, and 65% possession, while Rayo managed just 9 attempts with 3 on target. Mbappe was named man of the match for his three-goal performance, further cementing his status as the league's most feared striker. With 13 points from five games, Real Madrid top the table, while Rayo Vallecano remain 13th with four points. Can Carlo Ancelotti's men maintain their perfect record in the Madrid derby against Atletico next week?
